This Purple Power Blueberry Smoothie is packed with powerful antioxidant compounds, by way of blueberries, spinach, flax seeds, ginger, and soymilk. Blueberries are particularly potent in anthocyanins, compounds linked with disease protection. Plus, I love adding blueberries to smoothies because their royal purple shade and naturally sweet flavor can overshadow the strong tastes of added greens. Everyone will love this added sugar-free, 100% plant-based (vegan), gluten-free smoothie, from kids to adults. With only 5 ingredients, you can whip up this smoothie in 5 minutes. It’s nutritious enough for a light breakfast or healthy snack.
